Square One is a design firm specializing in high-end residential inte- riors, as well as select commercial interiors. We are a full-service firm. Our projects range from consultation and space planning only to full-scale renovations from start to finish.

Our goal is to assist clients in realizing their vision which means we work with architects, contractors, and craftsmen to create the ideal environment for each client.

Maggie formed Square One in May of 2009. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and an Associate in Applied Science degree (Interior Design) from Parsons School of Design.

"After school I interned at two firms in New York City before working full-time at J.D. Bell, Inc., also in New York. I had great experiences, particularly

at J.D. Bell where I was given a lot of responsibility from the start."

Maggie moved back to her hometown, Pittsburgh, with plans to start her own business.

"You never stop learning in interior design. Each project has its own unique set of circumstances. It's important to understand the environment and the clients' needs. It's not about my style or the latest trend, it's about what works and what makes people happy."
